Train (BTS and MRT)
BTS - The Bangkok Mass Transit System, commonly known as BTS or Skytrain

MRT - The MRT, Bangkok's subway consist of two lines. Tickets are bought in the form of tokens from machines at the stations. The subway is connected to the BTS (the sky trains) at Asok station.
Public Taxi - All taxis are metered with the starting fee of 35 Baht for the first 3 kilometers and then 5 Baht per Kilometer. There are many taxi companies and various colored taxis but costs and fares are the same.

Taxi Alternatives - App-based alternatives to the traditional taxis that operate in Bangkok:
Tuktuk - wheeled motorcycle which becomes a symbol of Thailand and can be found around Bangkok and in some provinces
Hotel Limousine - If you would like us to arrange an airport pickup for you, simply provide your flight details and estimated time of arrival when you make your room booking online.

FROM SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT
Train

The Bangkok Mass Transit System, commonly known as BTS or Skytrain - Passenger can opt to travel by train from the Airport Rail Link on the Basement floor at Suvarnabhumi Airport and change to BTS Sukhumwit line at Phaya Thai BTS station. Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok is about a 1-minute walk from Saphan Taksin BTS station. Day passes are available for purchase at the station. Daily Operating Hours: 06.00 a.m. – midnight

Public Taxi

Taxi services are available on the first floor of the Passenger Terminal Complex at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Though dense traffic in the center can make even short distances a long trip. Taxis cost approximately USD 1 for the first two kilometers, then about USD 0.10 for each kilometer thereafter, THB 50 surcharge also be applied when taking taxi at the airport stand.
Remark: Taxi goes by meter and accept only Thai Baht in cash


FROM DON MUANG AIRPORT
Train

There is currently no direct train service from Don Muang Airport to Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok

Public Taxi

Taxis stand located on the ground floor of the airport terminal. Turn left once you exit customs and you’ll find the stand. Like at Suvarnabhumi Airport, a THB 50 surcharge also be applied when taking taxi at the airport stand.
